Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the project leader in researching urban redevelopment incentives, efficiency, spillover effects, and spatial equilibrium in Hong Kong.
- Conduct theoretical and empirical studies including desktop research, model simulation, data sorting, geo mapping, and spatial analysis.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Research Associate: Master's degree or above in Economics, Urban Studies, Real Estate, Urban Economics, or related discipline.
- Research Assistant: Honours degree in listed disciplines or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in spatial data analysis, quantitative research methods, computational methods, or predictive modeling.
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as Matlab, Python, R, Stata, or GIS.
- Preference given to candidates with large-scale gridded dataset experience and Python proficiency in data analysis and neural networks.
