Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the project leader in a carbon neutrality monitoring and optimization research project.
- Develop web GIS systems and conduct tree survey fieldwork.
- Process LiDAR and hyperspectral data and perform algorithm development.
- Prepare research reports and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Research Associate: Master's degree or good honours degree with 3+ years of research/relevant experience.
- Research Assistant: Honours degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Preferred: web GIS development experience, fieldwork willingness, drone operations proficiency, remote sensing/GIS knowledge, and strong analytical skills.
Appointment
- Contract — three months initially, with possibility of further appointment.
