Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the project leader in a geospatial technologies and AI project on tree survey and assessment.
Conduct tree survey fieldwork and measurements using land surveying equipment.
Process LiDAR and hyperspectral data.
Perform algorithm development and data analytics.
Prepare reports and perform other assigned duties.

Research Associate: Master's degree or good honours degree with three+ years of research/relevant work experience.
Research Assistant: Honours degree or equivalent qualification.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Preference given to candidates with fieldwork willingness, driving license, drone operations proficiency, hyperspectral/LiDAR experience, remote sensing and GIS knowledge, strong analytical skills, and programming ability (Python/R).

Full-time Contract — 3 months initially with possibility of further appointment.
