Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the project leader with research on institutions, identity, and opportunity using administrative data.
Conduct data collection and processing for the research project.
Perform empirical analysis and literature reviews.
Focus on U.S. social and economic policy and education in China.

Master's degree or good honours degree in Economics, Finance or related discipline with 3+ years research/work experience (Research Associate) or honours degree equivalent (Research Assistant).
Solid training in econometrics and proficiency in Stata, Python or R.
Good command of written and spoken English with ability to work independently.
Preferred interest in applied microeconomics, particularly labor and development economics.
Preferred experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
