Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead research projects including study design, coordination, and execution.
- Oversee subject recruitment and clinical data collection.
- Conduct advanced laboratory experiments and perform high-level data analysis.
- Prepare research reports, manuscripts, and grant proposals.
- Supervise junior research staff and students.
- Collect and handle samples from locations outside the main hospital.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Science, or related discipline with at least eight years of postdoctoral research experience.
- Strong background in cellular and molecular biology techniques (cell culture, PCR, Western blot, flow cytometry, gene expression analysis).
- Advanced computer proficiency including Microsoft applications, SPSS, R, GraphPad Prism, and EndNote.
- Substantial experience in clinical laboratory research, project coordination, and team management.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
- Strong self-motivation, leadership potential, and ability to work independently.
- Prior experience in accredited laboratory settings or Gynaecological Oncology research is highly preferred.
Appointment
- Contract — one year, commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
