Duties & Responsibilities

Perform iometric measurements (refraction and A-scan) on guinea pig models.
Apply drugs to animal eyes and conduct tissue dissection.
Conduct immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy analysis with statistical evaluation.
Perform mass spectrometry and bioinformatics analysis.
Travel occasionally to the Chinese Mainland as required.
Complete other duties assigned by the project leader or delegates.

Hold a doctoral degree plus at least three years of postdoctoral experience (Research Fellow) or equivalent qualifications.
Possess a doctoral degree in Engineering/Optics with no more than five years post-qualification experience (Postdoctoral Fellow).
Have a master's or good honours degree with three or more years of research experience (Research Associate).
Hold an honours degree in Optometry, Ophthalmology, or Biochemistry (Research Assistant).
Demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese or Putonghua).
Show strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Full-time contract — twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment
