Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in research on myopia therapeutics using proteomics approaches.
- Perform biometric measurements and refraction testing on guinea pig models.
- Apply drugs to animal eyes and conduct tissue dissection.
- Conduct immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy analysis and statistics.
- Perform mass spectrometry and bioinformatics analysis.
- Travel occasionally to mainland China as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctoral degree with 3+ years postdoctoral experience (Research Fellow) or doctoral degree in Engineering/Optics with ≤5 years post-qualification experience (Postdoctoral Fellow) or master's/honours degree with 3+ years research experience (Research Associate) or honours degree in Optometry/Ophthalmology/Biochemistry (Research Assistant).
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Cantonese or Putonghua.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant research work experience and publications preferred.
