# **Duties & Responsibilities**
• Lead the establishment and commissioning of the Electric field-resolved Molecular Fingerprinting (EMF) Laboratory.
- Direct and manage research programs advancing laser-based and infrared spectroscopic methods for molecular sensing.
- Develop advanced experimental platforms including ultrafast lasers, mid-IR sources, and nonlinear optical systems.
- Supervise and mentor postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and research staff.
- Build interdisciplinary collaborations across physics, chemistry, engineering, and life sciences.
- Ensure laboratory safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
# **Requirements & Qualifications**
• PhD in Laser Physics, Optical Science, Spectroscopy, or closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in laser-based molecular spectroscopy.
- Proven experience setting up complex experimental laboratories and laser-based instrumentation.
- Ability to lead interdisciplinary research teams and manage laboratory operations.
- Less experienced candidates may apply for the Assistant Research Officer position.

• Full-time contract for three years with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability.
