Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and devise research studies and evaluation frameworks for a large-scale mental health and well-being project in primary schools.
- Perform administrative tasks supporting the research and intervention project.
- Supervise junior researchers and research assistants.
- Manage and coordinate research teams to achieve project objectives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. or MPhil degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate proficiency in advanced statistical software such as R, Stata, or Python.
- Have competency in MS Excel and Chinese typing.
- Experience in community or educational research projects is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time, fixed-term contract for two years with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
- Contract-end gratuity and University retirement benefits contribution of 10% (Assistant Research Officer) or 15% (Research Officer) of basic salary.
- Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus annual leave and medical benefits.
- Rank (Research Officer or Assistant Research Officer) determined by applicant's qualifications and experience.
