Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on EBV and emerging infectious diseases within the microbiology department.
- Perform multi-omics integrative analysis across genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics datasets.
- Apply molecular docking, virtual-screening pipelines, and machine-learning frameworks for pathogen detection and drug discovery.
- Lead individual sub-projects with scientific independence and judgment.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on infection-related research projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Microbiology, Bioinformatics/Computational Biology, or a related discipline.
- Extensive research experience with proven track record in EBV and emerging infectious disease projects.
- Expertise in multi-omics integrative analysis and bioinformatics tools.
- Experience with molecular docking, virtual-screening, and machine-learning/deep-learning frameworks.
- Working familiarity with microscopy-imaging platforms.
- Strong independent research capability and excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
Appointment
- Full-time, fixed-term contract for three years with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
