Duties & Responsibilities

Lead research, scholarly, and professional development activities aligned with the University's strategic vision.
Produce high-impact research output meeting international standards and enhance research culture.
Initiate and collaborate on research projects with local and overseas institutions.
Provide mentorship to junior faculty and postdoctoral researchers.
Advise on assessment and evaluation of academic programmes and research activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the President.

PhD degree in a related discipline.
Substantial research and publication experience at Professor level in a local or overseas university.
Strong educational background with established network in local industry and education sector.
Excellent interpersonal and management skills.
Proven track record of substantial research experience in higher education, particularly in the University's selected themes.
Recognized record of high-impact research output and demonstrated leadership in securing major external research grants.
