Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day chairside support and manage dental surgery assistants and clinic assistants.
- Perform chairside assisting during dental procedures.
- Provide training and supervision for dental auxiliaries.
- Manage equipment, instrument sterilization, turnover, and clinical resources.
- Prepare rosters and reports and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Certificate of Proficiency in Dental Surgery Assisting from a recognized institute or equivalent.
- Have 5 passes in HKCEE (including English, Chinese, and Mathematics) or equivalent HKDSEE qualifications.
- Have at least 15 years' post-qualification work experience in dental surgery assisting with supervisory experience.
- Demonstrate leadership, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work independently.
Appointment
- Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with contract-end gratuity and up to 10% University contribution to retirement benefits scheme; renewal possible subject to satisfactory performance.
