Senior Information Technology Officer (End User Computing)

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide first-line IT support to the University community for teaching, learning, and business operations.
Deliver effective IT solutions and support for user services.
Participate in digital workplace projects including system upgrades, new service rollouts, and software refreshment.
Assist with patch management and computer standard imaging to ensure security compliance.
Maintain printing management systems to ensure reliable printing services.
Investigate and analyse technical problems escalated from the IT Service Desk.
Collaborate with IT teams, users, and external vendors on assigned IT projects.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Hands-on experience supporting Windows/MacOS, Microsoft 365, PC hardware, and printing management systems.
Technical proficiency across Windows 11, Microsoft 365, macOS, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
Excellent problem-solving skills with a technology-driven and analytical mindset.
Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Independent, self-motivated, quick learner with strong teamwork and responsibility.

Fixed-term contract of two years; re-appointment subject to performance review, mutual agreement, and funding availability.
