Senior Information Technology Officer (End User Computing)

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide first-line IT support to the University community for teaching, learning, and business operations.
Deliver effective IT solutions and support across user services.
Participate in digital workplace projects including system upgrades, service rollouts, and software refreshment.
Assist with patch management and computer imaging rollouts to ensure security compliance.
Maintain printing management systems to ensure reliable printing services.
Investigate and analyse technical problems escalated from the IT Service Desk.
Collaborate with IT teams, users, and external vendors on assigned IT projects.
Perform ad hoc assignments as requested by supervisor.

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related discipline.
Hands-on experience supporting Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, and PC hardware.
Proficiency with printing management systems.
Technical knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, macOS, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
Excellent problem-solving skills with analytical mindset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and perform under pressure.
Good team player with strong sense of responsibility.

Fixed-term contract of two years, with re-appointment subject to performance review, mutual agreement, and funding availability.
