Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver frontline IT and audiovisual support to the Faculty of Science and administer core systems including servers, websites, and access controls.
- Provide technical solutions for live, hybrid, and virtual events, meetings, and conferences.
- Manage Linux and Windows server administration, including setup, backup, monitoring, and patching for research computing.
- Document system procedures and manage hardware/software inventories and fixed assets.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Linux, Windows, NAS administration, web technologies (PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, NodeJS), and scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Hands-on experience with O365, CMS platforms, server monitoring tools, AV facilities, and video conferencing software.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Appointment
- Full-time, fixed-term contract of two years.
