Duties & Responsibilities
- Engage in teaching and teaching-related activities.
- Provide academic leadership in programme management and development.
- Contribute to quality assurance and administration.
- Carry out research and scholarly activities.
- Liaise with industries, professional bodies and public organisations.
- Assist the Division Head with delegated divisional matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May be required to work outside Hong Kong occasionally.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a doctoral degree in a related discipline.
- Have substantial years of teaching, research/scholarship and/or industrial experience.
- Demonstrate excellent teaching performance.
- Show good academic leadership in programme management and development.
- Have a strong record of research, scholarly work or professional engagement.
- Have good connections with industries, professional bodies and public organisations.
- Be proficient in English and Cantonese, preferably Putonghua.
- Possess good communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in AI-assisted language teaching, language science or computational linguistics is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time — Two-year contract with re-engagement subject to mutual agreement.
