Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver teaching and learning activities to support students' academic language development.
- Develop and revise programme curriculum to meet academic learning standards.
- Develop learning and teaching materials using AI tools and new technologies.
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the Centre for Language Enhancement to foster a dynamic learning environment.
- Participate in academic and scholarly activities contributing to research and professional development.
- Provide academic and administrative support services to the School and Institute.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's degree (preferably Doctoral degree) in TESOL, English Language, Linguistics, or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience teaching academic English at tertiary level.
- Experience in research project funding applications and language centre coordination.
- Native or native-like English proficiency.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Good command of Putonghua and/or Cantonese preferred.
- Strong team player with ability to work independently and embrace challenges.
Appointment
- Full-time; short-term contract basis possible; rank of Teaching Fellow I/II.
