Senior Lecturer / Lecturer (Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management)

Duties & Responsibilities

Report to the Programme Leader and Head of Department on teaching and learning activities.
Develop programme curriculum and create teaching, learning, and assessment materials.
Support students in their learning and supervise their projects.
Participate in academic and scholarly activities of the Department.
Provide academic and administrative support services for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) programme.

Master's degree (preferably Doctoral degree) in Horticulture, Geography, Landscape Management, Plant Biology, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
Good professional standing and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High proficiency in English; proficiency in Chinese/Putonghua is preferred.
Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Arborist) and specialization in environmental chemistry, soil science, or plant sciences are advantageous.
Industry connections and experience arranging internships and supervising honours projects are advantageous.

Full-time; Teaching Fellow I/II rank; may be required to work at different sites, outside Hong Kong, irregular hours, shifts, and weekends.
