Duties & Responsibilities
- Engage in teaching, programme and curriculum planning and development.
- Provide academic leadership in teaching-related activities.
- Contribute to programme validation and quality assurance.
- Carry out research and scholarly work.
- Liaise with industries, professional bodies and organisations.
- Perform academic and administrative duties as assigned.
- May be required to work outside Hong Kong occasionally.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a doctoral degree in a related discipline.
- Have solid relevant teaching, research and/or industrial experience.
- Possess a Registered Social Worker certificate with at least five years of post-degree professional practice experience.
- Preferably specialise in community, macro practice, and/or mental well-being.
- Demonstrate excellent teaching performance.
- Show good academic leadership in programme management and development.
- Have a good record of research, scholarly work or professional engagement.
- Possess good communication and leadership skills.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — two years (initial appointment); re-engagement subject to mutual agreement.
