Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory classes to students.
Develop course materials and support academic activities through planning and coordination.
Provide clinical teaching and supervise student practicum in hospital settings.
Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
Participate in programme development and accreditation activities.
Train and supervise laboratory staff in preparation of materials and equipment.
Write standard operation procedures for equipment setup and maintenance.
Ensure safety and security protocols in laboratory environments.

Hold a recognized degree in medical laboratory science or a related discipline.
Possess Part 1 Registration and valid practicing certificate from the Medical Laboratory Technologist Board of HKSAR.
Have substantial professional experience in medical laboratory settings covering Anatomical and Cellular Pathology, Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Haematology, and Transfusion Science.
