Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, oversee and implement a comprehensive occupational health and safety reporting system.
- Administer the recording system for all reported incidents and occurrences.
- Establish risk assessment methodology with defined ratings and criteria for systematic analysis.
- Conduct and advise on risk assessments based on identified occupational hazards.
- Recommend and execute mitigation strategies to prevent incidents and accidents.
- Analyse records and prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Evaluate system effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety reporting.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a recognised degree in Engineering, Science or Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
- Possess corporate membership of a relevant professional institution in occupational health and safety or equivalent.
- Have at least 7 years' relevant post-qualification experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in educational institutions or major organisations.
- Preferably hold a Registered Safety Officer or Safety Auditor qualification from the Labour Department or equivalent.
- Demonstrate sound management capability and ability to work independently.
- Possess good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills at all levels.
- Be proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
