Duties & Responsibilities

Develop, oversee and implement a comprehensive occupational health and safety reporting system.
Administer the recording system for all reported incidents and occurrences.
Establish risk assessment methodology with defined ratings and criteria for systematic analysis.
Conduct and advise on risk assessments based on identified occupational hazards.
Recommend and execute mitigation strategies to prevent incidents and accidents.
Analyse records and prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Evaluate system effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety reporting.

Hold a recognised degree in Engineering, Science or Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
Possess corporate membership of a relevant professional institution in occupational health and safety or equivalent.
Have at least 7 years' relevant post-qualification experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in educational institutions or major organisations.
Preferably hold a Registered Safety Officer or Safety Auditor qualification from the Labour Department or equivalent.
Demonstrate sound management capability and ability to work independently.
Possess good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills at all levels.
Be proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
