Senior Research Assistant in the Centre for Psycho-oncology Research & Teaching and the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public Health

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee project execution and monitor progress across multiple study sites to achieve established milestones.
Supervise data collection and analysis while maintaining high data quality standards and ensuring timely delivery.
Liaise with clinical collaborators to facilitate patient recruitment and support study operations.
Manage and assist with intervention and cohort studies.
Mentor junior research staff and provide guidance and training.
Prepare reports and complete administrative duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social sciences, public health, or related discipline with at least 3 years of experience, or a Master's degree with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.
Substantial experience monitoring project progress and liaising with clinical sites.
Strong skills in qualitative and quantitative data analysis with proficiency in SPSS or other statistical software.
Experience in patient recruitment within clinical settings and conducting qualitative interview analysis.
Experience submitting applications for ethical approval and coordinating multiple projects.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clinical partners and stakeholders.

Full-time, fixed-term contract for two years with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
