Duties & Responsibilities

Manage and maintain daily laboratory operations under the supervision of a senior professor.
Oversee, coordinate, and support research projects focused on protein production and immunological testing.
Supervise junior staff and students working in the laboratory.
Liaise with external collaborators on research activities.

Master's degree or above in biomedical sciences, life sciences, or related disciplines.
At least 5 years of relevant laboratory experience in infectious disease research.
Strong expertise in virology, molecular biology, and protein production.
Excellent work ethic, professional temperament, and strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Experience with immunological or serological testing is desired; experience with BSL2 viruses is preferred.
Experience in budgeting, procurement, and regulatory compliance is advantageous.

One-year temporary term or two-year fixed-term contract, with possibility of renewal subject to funding and performance.
