Duties & Responsibilities

Manage and maintain daily laboratory operations under professorial supervision.
Oversee, coordinate, and support research projects including protein production and immunological testing.
Supervise junior staff and students.
Liaise with collaborators and perform assigned duties.

Master's degree or above in biomedical sciences, life sciences, or related disciplines.
At least 5 years of relevant laboratory experience in infectious disease research.
Strong expertise in virology, molecular biology, and protein production.
Experience in immunological or serological testing (desired).
Preference for experience with influenza or other BSL2 viruses.
Excellent work ethic, professional temperament, strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and good command of written and spoken English.
Experience in budgeting, procurement, and regulatory compliance (advantageous).

One-year temporary term or two-year fixed-term contract, with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
