Duties & Responsibilities

Manage and analyse large-scale clinical datasets including electronic health records and surgical registry data.
Apply statistical modelling techniques such as multivariable regression, survival analysis, and propensity score methods to research questions.
Develop and implement machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms for outcome prediction and risk stratification.
Conduct systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses for grant-funded projects.
Assist in preparing manuscripts, conference presentations, grant proposals, and ethics submissions.
Maintain research databases while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in at least two programming languages: R, Python, Stata, or SAS.
Experience handling large and complex datasets including data cleaning and linkage.
Working knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow is highly desirable.
Strong command of written and spoken English; Chinese language proficiency is preferred.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Master's degree or prior clinical/health data research experience is advantageous.

Full-time contract — one year or two years fixed-term (duration to be confirmed after interview), with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
