Duties & Responsibilities

Manage and analyse large-scale clinical datasets, including electronic health records and surgical registry data.
Apply statistical modelling techniques such as multivariable regression, survival analysis, and propensity score methods to research questions.
Develop and implement machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms for outcome prediction and risk stratification.
Conduct systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses for grant-funded projects.
Assist in preparing manuscripts, conference presentations, grant proposals, and ethics submissions.
Maintain research databases and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in at least two of the following: R, Python, Stata, or SAS with demonstrated experience in applied statistical analysis.
Experience handling large and complex datasets, including data cleaning and linkage.
Working knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow) is highly desirable.
Good command of written and spoken English; Chinese language proficiency is preferred.
Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Full-time — One year contract or two-year fixed-term contract (duration to be confirmed after interview); possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
