Duties & Responsibilities

Participate in research projects involving system integration, hardware and software development, and platform-independent software frameworks.
Conduct literature review, digital system development, data collection, programming, data analysis, and draft research reports.
Perform electromagnetic and microwave simulation and analysis for sensing and communication applications.
Apply AI/machine learning techniques to hardware and analysis.
Conduct experimental setup, measurement, and validation of microwave and sensing systems.
Provide administrative support to the research team and contribute to manuscript writing and journal publications.

Senior Research Assistant: Master's degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related fields, plus one year's post-Master's full-time working experience, or a Doctoral degree.
Research Assistant I: Bachelor's degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related fields.
Research Assistant II: Level 2 or equivalent in five HKDSE subjects (including Chinese, English, and Mathematics); preference given to applicants with a higher diploma or above in related fields.

Full-time contract — 12 months initially, with possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
