Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and develop theoretical frameworks for mental health research.
- Perform mixed-methods research including experiments, longitudinal studies, and qualitative interviews under PI supervision.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis using statistical and specialized software.
- Collaborate with community partners on knowledge translation initiatives.
- Assist with project management, ethics applications, data collection, and preparation of reports and publications.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Senior Research Assistant: Master's degree in Social Sciences with at least 1 year post-qualification research experience.
- Research Assistant I/II: Master's degree in Social Sciences or Bachelor's degree with substantial research experience.
- Proficiency in statistical software (STATA, SPSS, R, or Python) and qualitative analysis software (NVivo).
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; Cantonese proficiency advantageous for fieldwork.
Appointment
- Full-time, one-year temporary contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability; University contribution to retirement benefits scheme.
