Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the Principal Investigator and team in conducting research tasks for an AI-enabled narrative therapy app project.
Collaborate with the team and data scientist to design user-centered interfaces aligned with therapeutic goals.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems prioritizing accessibility and inclusivity for diverse SEN populations.
Develop front-end code for a cross-platform (iOS & Android) audio chatbot application with switchable voice and text interaction.
Ensure seamless integration of AI-driven narrative features into the app's user experience.
Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback from users, caregivers, and practitioners.
Contribute to project documentation and support proposal development by articulating design strategies and impact.

Honours degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience in system development, integration, and solution implementation.
Ability to work independently with investigative nature, analytical aptitude, and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and fluency in English and Chinese.
Preference given to candidates with phone app development and/or chatbot design experience.
Preference given to those with research interests in AI and technology in social and educational settings.
