Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact and role model for student residents, providing support and guidance on living arrangements.
Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of residential education programmes, training sessions, and activities.
Develop and supervise student leaders such as tutors, mentors, and captains to manage residential floors and communities.
Enforce University rules, regulations, and policies to maintain a safe and positive residential environment.
Provide administrative and operational support to hostel management and development.
Perform on-call duties on a roster basis to respond to emergencies and urgent situations.
Handle student discipline cases and provide crisis intervention support as required.

At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions or student residence settings.
Genuine interest in student development with strong organisational and people management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
Strong sense of responsibility, sound judgement, and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency in standard software applications and information systems.

Full-time; candidates with less relevant experience may be appointed at the rank of Residential Life Officer.
