Duties & Responsibilities

Advance veterinary education, clinical research, and community engagement at local and international levels.
Support clinical teaching activities and contribute to a collaborative learning environment.
Teach ruminant handling, husbandry, health, and production across the BVM curriculum.
Supervise and lead veterinary students during clinical rotations in ruminant practice.
Provide veterinary services, nutritional advice, and case management for cattle at the teaching farm.
Participate in on-call clinical support and emergency services as required.
Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Hold a veterinary qualification recognised by the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong.
Demonstrate experience and competence in cattle or mixed-animal practice, including routine and basic surgical procedures.
Work independently in a clinical environment.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Lead small teams and manage after-hours emergency services.
Have interest in veterinary teaching with some prior teaching experience or educational training preferred.
Cantonese and/or Putonghua language skills are advantageous but not essential.
