Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of research staff conducting community-based longitudinal lung cancer studies in Hong Kong.
  • Coordinate participant recruitment, training, and motivation of team members in the community.
  • Oversee all aspects of studies including follow-up activities, vaccination, interviews, and specimen collection.
  • Liaise with funding bodies, community partners, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with standardized operating procedures, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct budget monitoring, report writing, and data quality assurance activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Nursing qualification registrable with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong and valid practising certificate.
  • Advanced qualification in public health, infection control, or related discipline (preferred).
  • At least 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in nursing.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Organized, responsible, detail-minded, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in teams.
  • Demonstrated research interest in public health and clinical research management experience (advantageous).

Appointment

  • Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
