Senior Technical Officer

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead a technical team supporting student experiential learning and innovation projects.
Conduct training workshops to enhance students' technical competencies in robotics, AI, and IoT.
Manage procurement, inventory, and daily operations of equipment and facilities.
Provide technical guidance and supervise student projects in robotics, GenAI, and IoT applications.
Coordinate interns and collaborate with external partners on undergraduate projects.
Enforce safety protocols and handle tasks assigned by the Director of the Innovation Wing.

Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering-related discipline.
At least 3 years of work experience in a related field.
Proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working with students.
Self-motivated and independent with effective teamwork and coordination abilities.
Skilled in robotics, GenAI, or IoT application development and deployment.
Experience in makerspace or supervising student projects is an asset.

Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal; includes contract-end gratuity and University contribution to retirement benefits scheme (up to 10% of basic salary).

Commencement: As soon as possible.
