Duties & Responsibilities

Manage, operate and maintain analytical and instrumental facilities for earth and planetary sciences research.
Assist in innovative research across the earth and planetary sciences.
Prepare tender and purchase orders for laboratory equipment and consumables.
Provide technical advice for research facility development.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree or above in Earth Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or Physics.
3-5 years of related work experience.
Strong background in elemental and isotope geochemistry or cosmochemistry.
Hands-on experience with MC-ICPMS, ICP-MS, laser ablation systems, X-ray diffractometer, microscopy, noble gas spectrometry, and ion chromatography.
Experience in setting up and maintaining clean laboratory environments is advantageous.
Proficiency in electronics and instrumentation troubleshooting is preferred.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and supervisory skills.
Self-motivated, diligent, and responsible; able to work independently and under pressure.

Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; contract-end gratuity and up to 10% of basic salary contribution to retirement benefits scheme included.
