Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to embalming services and handle human cadavers.
- Lead anatomy laboratory tours and explain specimens to the public.
- Independently manage teaching arrangements and organize clinical workshops.
- Perform manual work and any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Occasional weekend and public holiday work may be required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science or related discipline with at least 4 years' relevant mortuary, embalming, and prosecting experience.
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy and fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and experience with Anatomage and AR/VR teaching equipment.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving skills; self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team.
- Experience in soft-embalming techniques such as Barton's method and Thiel's method is advantageous.
Appointment
- Fixed-term contract for two years with possibility of renewal; commencement as soon as possible; includes contract-end gratuity and up to 10% University contribution to retirement benefits scheme; highly competitive salary offered with annual leave and medical benefits.
