Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct laboratory experiments and provide technical support to researchers and staff.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory and communal equipment.
Prepare and analyze samples using various scientific techniques.
Assist in developing and implementing laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures.
Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Assist in teaching practical classes.
Liaise with commercial parties for equipment purchases.

Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate degree preferred.
At least 10 years' work experience in biological sciences or related laboratory discipline.
Highly motivated with ability to work independently and in teams.
Experience with transgenic mice, molecular biology, cell/tissue culture, histology, and imaging techniques desirable.
Experience with flow cytometry, microfluidic systems, and spatial proteomics platforms an asset.

Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; includes contract-end gratuity and up to 10% University contribution to retirement benefits scheme.
