Senior Technical Officer in Imaging and Flow Cytometry Core

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the core facility to ensure smooth functioning and high-quality service delivery.
Provide technical consultation and guidance on experimental design and protocol optimization to research teams.
Supervise and train junior staff in advanced techniques and best practices.
Organize technical seminars, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events.
Assist in new equipment acquisition and core facility development.

M.Phil. degree in Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline.
8 years of laboratory experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on imaging equipment operation and maintenance in a core facility.
Experience establishing new core facilities and demonstrated team leadership experience.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and commitment to continuous skill development.
Self-motivated, responsible, and collaborative with strong teamwork inclination.

Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; includes contract-end gratuity and up to 10% of basic salary contribution to retirement benefits scheme.
