Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with operation of electron microscopes and biological sample preparation.
- Perform ultramicrotomy and prepare biological samples for electron microscopy analysis.
- Maintain electron microscopy facilities and manage standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot instruments and workflows while maintaining accurate records.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or above in life sciences, biological science, or equivalent.
- Possess at least 2 years of relevant experience in research and biological electron microscopy.
- Demonstrate proficiency in ultramicrotomy and biological sample preparation for EM.
- Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong interpersonal skills.
Appointment
- Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
