Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate sophisticated scientific instruments including HPLC, GC, QQQ, Q-TOF, Orbitrap, and QTRAP.
- Support core services and research activities in the Proteomics and Metabolomics Core.
- Maintain and troubleshoot state-of-the-art equipment to facilitate translational research.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's degree or above in Analytical Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant laboratory experience in proteomics.
- Experience operating and maintaining advanced mass spectrometry and chromatography equipment.
- Working knowledge of MS-based technologies and experience in a core facility.
- Self-motivated, responsible, meticulous, and capable of collaborative teamwork.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Appointment
- Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; includes contract-end gratuity and University contribution to retirement benefits scheme up to 10% of basic salary.
