Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee planning and administration of the STEM Internship Scheme funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission.
Coordinate day-to-day implementation, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and programme requirements.
Manage job applications, student vetting, scheme monitoring, and system administration.
Liaise with external and internal stakeholders including employers, faculty, students, and the ITC on internship matters.
Collect stakeholder feedback and advise students on internship opportunities and application processes.
Support budget administration, financial reporting, and processing of reimbursements and allowances.
Assist in developing internship-related initiatives and services for students.
Provide guidance to junior staff and undertake other assigned duties.

University degree with at least five years of work experience.
Preferably experience in project management or career services in tertiary institutions or large corporations.
Familiarity with government-funded or university-wide programmes is an asset.
Experience in employer outreach and partnership development is desirable.
Strong analytical mindset towards process enhancement and service improvement.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of the local employment market and awareness of industry trends.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and webpage design/social media marketing is advantageous.

Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; includes contract end gratuity and 10% University contribution to retirement benefit scheme.
