Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop supplementary teaching and learning materials for the English Section.
- Provide support to new and existing English language enhancement activities.
- Assist lecturers in teaching core and elective credit-bearing courses, workshops, and services.
- Research, evaluate, and compile AI tools and applications for independent language learning.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of the English Section and Head of the Language Centre.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Linguistics, Linguistics, English, TESOL, or Language Studies.
- Master's degree in a related discipline.
- Native or native-like proficiency in English.
- Experience designing English language learning materials.
- Experience organising and promoting language enhancement activities (posters, videos, etc.).
- Experience analysing activity and course outcomes.
Appointment
- Fixed-term contract of one to two years commencing September 2026; re-appointment subject to performance review, mutual agreement, and funding availability.
