Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist course teachers in preparation, administration, and academic activities for Master's programmes in Social Data Analytics and Population and Policy Analysis.
- Grade assignments and tests, and provide feedback to students.
- Invigilate examinations and provide consultative support to students outside class.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Programme Directors or their delegates.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Arts, Social Sciences, Science, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- At least one year of experience in teaching and research.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with fluent written and spoken English.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in computational social science, social data analytics, population studies, and proficiency in Python and R.
Appointment
- Full-time; one-year temporary term or two-year fixed-term contract with contract-end gratuity and up to 10% University contribution to retirement benefits scheme; possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
