Duties & Responsibilities

Support delivery of AI and/or documentary production courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Teach programmes including Master of Journalism (Documentary Filmmaking Specialisation) and Master of Arts in Creative Artificial Intelligence Film and Media.
Contribute to class coordination, student advising, curriculum development, and enrichment events.
Work overtime as required for teaching duties.

Bachelor's degree or above in journalism, communication, or related fields.
At least 3 years of professional and practical experience in media production or content creation.
Strong technical proficiency in video editing, cinematography, post-production workflows, sound design, and colour grading.
Experience with generative AI tools such as Midjourney, VEO, Kling, ElevenLabs, or similar platforms.
Highly desirable: Experience with ComfyUI configuration, workflow automation, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted content creation.
Advantageous: Prior tertiary-level teaching and professional media production experience.

Full-time, fixed-term contract for two years with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Start date: June 1, 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter).
