Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the embalming team and Body Donation Programme.
- Instruct and train junior staff in mortuary and embalming procedures.
- Oversee the handling and prosection of human cadavers.
- Lead and explain public tours of the anatomy laboratory.
- Organize clinical workshops and perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.
- Work occasionally on weekends and public holidays as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science or related discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in mortuary work, embalming, and prosecting specimens.
- Experience with soft-embalming techniques such as Barton's or Thiel's method preferred.
- Knowledge of human anatomy highly preferred.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Appointment
- Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal; includes contract-end gratuity and university retirement benefits contribution (up to 10% of basic salary); competitive salary, annual leave, and medical benefits.
