Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee overall management of department laboratories and implementation of laboratory policies.
Provide user training and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures and handle safety incidents.
Manage laboratory equipment and facilities, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with other departments.
Supervise and lead the technical support team to maintain laboratory operations.

Master's degree or above in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
At least five years of relevant laboratory management experience.
Sound knowledge of microbiology and biotechnology.
Familiarity with BSL-3 protocols and laboratory safety policies is advantageous.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; contract-end gratuity and University contribution to retirement benefits scheme (up to 10% of basic salary) included.

Commencement: As soon as possible.
