Technical Manager (holding the functional title of Laboratory Manager)

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee operations of the Nexus Laboratory at multiple campus locations.
Manage laboratory facilities, equipment procurement, and inventory of consumables.
Develop and implement standard operation protocols.
Provide training and technical support to laboratory users.
Manage documentation, prepare reports, and support events and seminars.

Hold a PhD degree with relevant experience, OR a Bachelor's degree or above with at least 5 years' relevant experience.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
Possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Have strong laboratory management abilities and knowledge of safety procedures.
Be self-motivated, responsible, and a team player; prior experience in diverse cultural environments is preferred.

Full-time, fixed-term contract for 2 years with possibility of renewal subject to funding and performance; includes contract-end gratuity and up to 10% retirement benefits contribution.
