Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance and management of slopes and trees across campus while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs for slope stabilization and tree health.
Manage in-house staff and contractors to maintain high work performance standards.
Prepare budgets and cost estimates for slope and tree management projects.
Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
Liaise with university departments, contractors, and external agencies as needed.
Promote and implement sustainable practices in all work aspects.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
At least 10 years' relevant experience in landscaping or similar role, preferably in educational institutions or large organizations.
Corporate membership of HKIE or equivalent professional body.
Valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card) or equivalent.
Extensive knowledge of slope stabilization and tree management techniques.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
Solid understanding of safety regulations and environmental standards.

Full-time fixed-term contract for 2 years with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
