Duties & Responsibilities

Assist academic staff in daily operation of the Modular Integrated Construction, Construction Informatics, and Transportation Analytics Laboratories for research projects.
Provide technical support to IT matters, research post-graduate students, events, and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Receive on-job training for equipment operation.
Work outside normal office hours on rare occasions as required.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Hands-on experience in assembly and installation of smart construction technologies including virtual/augmented reality, IoT sensing, laser scanning, 3D reconstruction, smart crane, and construction robotics.
Experience in programming and software development using Python, C/C++, Java, or similar languages.
Three or more years of related working experience in smart construction and transportation (preferred).
Proficiency in MS Office and fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, responsibility, and ability to work independently and in teams.
Knowledge in programming, electronic engineering, or mechatronics engineering is helpful.

Full-time, fixed-term contract for two years with possibility of renewal; includes contract-end gratuity and University contribution to retirement benefit scheme up to 10% of basic salary.
