Duties & Responsibilities
- Support core services for sample processing and equipment maintenance within the Biobank Core.
- Operate state-of-the-art technology platforms and sophisticated equipment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
- Self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, meticulous, and able to work effectively in teams.
- Prior experience in processing clinical samples is advantageous.
- Proficiency with microtome and cryostat for FFPE and frozen tissue sectioning is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; includes contract-end gratuity and University contribution to retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
