Duties & Responsibilities

Assist researchers with experimental setup and troubleshooting.
Liaison with campus management, safety office, and laboratory animal service for inspections and operations.
Manage facility bookings, payments, and animal housing coordination with other departments.
Assist with imaging and electrophysiological data collection from mice.
Maintain an organised laboratory environment and collaborate on improving protocols and workflows.
Perform regular maintenance of devices, IT equipment management, and website/application updates.
Provide IT support during events and functions.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline.
At least 2 years' work experience in IT support and/or facility and equipment management.
Good knowledge of operating systems, networks, common applications, CMS operations like WordPress and Drupal.
Strong troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent organisational and communication skills with a sense of responsibility.
Ability to learn and operate new equipment and software programs quickly.
Ability to work effectively under deadlines with minimal supervision.

Full-time — 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
