Duties & Responsibilities
- Process patient samples including body fluids and tissues in the biobank.
- Assist with sample registration and data entry using Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Perform quality control (QC) testing on samples.
- Prepare equipment procurement and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Work at multiple locations and outside normal office hours as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related disciplines; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the biomedical sciences field.
- Experience in handling blood and tissue samples.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
- Ability to work independently in a careful and well-organised manner.
- DNA/RNA extraction experience and LIMS proficiency are preferred.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — 1 year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
