Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in operating and maintaining wood workshop tools and equipment, including preparing operational manuals and SOPs.
- Monitor, check, and maintain workshop facilities and equipment, manage renovations, and keep records of accessories and tools.
- Provide daily support to students, foster a welcoming environment, and deliver training on workshop safety and equipment use.
- Prepare for workshop digitalization by planning and updating digital records of equipment, layouts, and safety procedures.
- Handle purchasing matters and prepare procurement documents for new equipment, tools, and consumables.
- Collaborate with the technical team and undertake other tasks assigned by the School Director.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Higher Diploma/Higher Certificate or above.
- Have at least 3 years of related work experience.
- Demonstrate strong service mindset with ability to engage and support students positively and patiently.
- Show proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and openness to feedback.
- Communicate effectively in both Chinese and English, with experience delivering training or instruction.
- Take a proactive approach to routine checks, maintenance, and facility ownership.
- Experience with digital tools for workshop planning and record-keeping is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time, 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
