Temporary College Assistant Lecturer (QEF Project) in Oriental Studies Subject Group in the College of Humanities and Law

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the Programme Director in coordinating and administering the QEF Thematic Network project on Chinese language learning for kindergartens.
Provide on-site school support and serve as liaison for a designated group of 23 participating schools.
Coordinate networking activities, parent seminars, and a territory-wide sharing forum for kindergartens.
Assist in implementing support initiatives including lesson preparation, classroom observation, and post-lesson evaluation.
Promote research-based practices in Chinese language learning and manage project logistics and progress.

Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of early childhood teaching and teacher training experience, or a Master's degree.
Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English.
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Motivated, responsible, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Familiarity with quantitative research methods is an advantage; Chinese language teaching research experience is preferred.
